On June 27th, I was honored to receive the Glenn Walters Memorial Legislative Award from the Associated Firefighters of Illinois (AFFI1935) at the 44th Biennial AFFI Convention.
Associated Firefighters of Illinois (AFFI1935) advocates for issues related to union firefighters and EMS providers. Their mission aligns in promoting fire protection and emergency services for the communities of Illinois. AFFI1935 provides a unified voice for firefighters and EMS providers and provides initial services to support and educate local unions and members of legislation that promotes union.
