Rep. Williams Joins Environmental Leaders at Wild Things

Rep. Williams on Saturday, March 1 joined a panel of environmentally-focused policymakers at the ‘Wild Things’ conference in Rosemont – where the conservation community comes together to celebrate nature, wildlife, ecosystem restoration and more. Cook County Commissioner Bridget Degnen coordinated the panel and moderated a great discussion with State Senator Laura Fine and MWRD Commissioner Theresa Flynn about how to engage with local officials on environmental issues.  Rep. Williams, Chair of the House Committee on Energy & Environment, offered her thoughts on the state of environmental policy in Illinois, as well as the work needed from legislators in Springfield to ensure that Illinoisians have access to safe water and air, affordable electricity, and plentiful clean energy.
