Representative Ann Williams enjoyed her Earth day with Commissioner Bridget Degnen, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Commissioner Patricia Theresa Flynn, Alderman Matt Martin, and WasteNotCompost at the Sunken Gardens. She spent the morning discussing clean energy initiatives she is working on in the House with constituents who braved the cold, rainy morning to join us. Every one who stopped by received a ticket to the Brookfield Zoo, and one lucky person got to take home a free rain barrel!
The event was lovely, and an important reminder of the work we must continue to do to protect our planet.
