On January 27, 2023, Representative Ann Williams attended Common Pantry’s construction kick-off at their new location- 3908 N Lincoln Avenue. Common Pantry’s new home is located three blocks from their old space (Epiphany United Church of Christ.)
The new facility will be built with the help of $1.5 million in state Capital funding and will feature a commercial kitchen with updated equipment, a grocery shopping space, a dining area, a courtyard, a multipurpose room, and more! This new space provides the beloved Pantry with greater resources and opportunities to better serve neighbors in need.
Representative Williams is thrilled to be a part of Common Pantry’s growth plans and is looking forward to seeing their vision for an accessible, multi-faceted space on Lincoln Avenue become a reality!
