Rep. Ann Williams recently joined Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and other local elected leaders for the Beam Raising Ceremony on the hospital’s new Patient Pavilion. The new construction, which includes a Center for Advanced Care as well as an upgraded Women’s Health Center, is a welcome addition to the Lakeview hospital at 836 W Wellington Ave.
Rep. Williams offered remarks at the Beam Raising, speaking about the importance of funding local hospitals and the excellent quality of care that Advocate provides. Acknowledging the critical role that healthcare workers and facilities play in our communities, Rep. Williams thanked the leadership team at Advocate Illinois, her fellow elected leaders, including State Sen. Sara Feigneholtz, State Rep. Margaret Croke and Ald. Bennet Lawson, as well as the many nurses, doctors, and other staff at the hospital for their essential work.
