On February 28th Rep. Williams joined the IL CleanJobs Coalition, Senate sponsor Senator Cristina Castro and other advocates in announcing the roll out of the Clean Energy Jobs Act. This landmark legislation puts Illinois on an equitable path to 100% renewable energy, decarbonization of the power sector, and a reduction in pollution from the transportation sector. Most importantly it takes steps to ensure that all Illinoisans are able to take part in the new green economy and share in the benefits that clean renewable energy will bring to our state.
