Chicago, IL – Representative Williams had the pleasure of addressing a packed house on the main tenets of the Clean Energy Jobs Act and what the next steps might look like for this legislation. Representative Williams and Representative Feigenholtz were joined by The Illinois Environmental Council, NRDC, and the Citizens Utility Board who provided information on energy saving techniques that can be used in one’s own home. Representative Williams would like to thank all the community members who attended and asked important and insightful questions. Public support around this event last night made it clear that the time for clean energy in Illinois is now.
